To celebrate the upcoming launch of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Let’s Go, Eevee!, a new trailer showed off four of the toughest trainers that players will go up against, as well as some surprise appearances from series icons.

In the new footage, which you can check out below, fans can see Kanto’s Elite Four: Ice-type master Lorelai, Fighting-type champion Bruno, Ghost-type channeler Agatha, and Dragon-type tamer Lance. As with the original Pokémon Yellow, trainers will face off against these four opponents once all eight Kanto Gym badges have been earned.

In an interesting twist, it was also revealed that three blasts from the pasts will be a part of Let’s Go‘s story. Red, the main character of Pokémon Red, Blue, and Yellow, will appear to battle players, while his rival, Blue, will also show up at some point. Perhaps even more exciting, though, was the tease that Green will be in the game. For players unaware of who she is, she was the female trainer from Generation III’s Pokémon FireRed and LeafGreen games.

Apart from the new trainer footage, The Pokémon Company also recently gave a sneak peek at Let’s Go‘s take on Lavender Town. Fans will come across the spooky Pokémon Tower and plenty of Team Rocket antics when exploring the ghostly area. For something more technical, it was revealed a new feature will be available in the Nintendo Switch titles that will let players somewhat control the natures of wild Pokémon.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! will launch for Nintendo Switch on November 16th.
