The first few pages from Japanese magazine CoroCoro have leaked, and as Pokémon fans know, that means that we’ve gotten another sneak peek at information Nintendo hasn’t made public yet.

This time around, the magazine (translated by Serebii) brings word of Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee!, and it reveals that Mega Evolutions will make a big return. One full page of the magazine shows off the Mega Evolutions of Blastoise, Venusaur, and both versions of Charizard, the final forms of the three Kanto starters.

Mega Evolutions were introduced in Pokémon X and Y, and haven’t yet had the chance to appear in Kanto in any form. It’s not clear from the article if the Mega Evolutions are only there for the starter Pokémon or if others, like Pidgeot, will also receive their Mega forms. We’ll also have to see if the mechanic for Mega Evolution changes. So far, it’s required Pokémon to hold an item, but that wasn’t something that Pokémon could do in the original Red and Blue. Either that ability will be added in with the remake, or a new Mega Evolution mechanic will appear.

The CoroCoro scans also offer us a closer look at Jessie and James, the villainous Team Rocket duo that starred in the anime, as well as the first three Gym Leaders in the game. While we’ve seen some of these characters appear briefly before in one of the games’ trailers, Lt. Surge’s design is all-new.

Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! and Pokémon: Let’s Go, Eevee! launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on November 16th.
