Artist “Wednesday Wolf” has a particularly frightening take on the Pokémon franchise, which he’s expressed through a series of masterful watercolor paintings. Oh, Eevee—what have they done to you?

Chilling artwork seems to be the South Wales artist’s forte, and he’s no stranger to video games, having done a few haunting numbers on Mario, Gannondorf, and Mega Man.

One of his latest works, a nightmare inducing version of Mr. Mime, almost takes the cake.

But then again, that was always a creepy Pokémon to begin with. Heck, it doesn’t even look like a Pokémon at all, but a hideously deformed clown dwarf with a speech impediment.

Steel yourself if you’re going to check out Wednesday Wolf’s entire watercolor galley.

Prints of his artwork are also available to purchase, but you need to jump on them fast (I’m getting Charizard)—most new pieces can find themselves temporarily out of print pretty quickly.
