Nintendo has released a new batch of screenshots for Pokémon X and Y showing off Pokéball-throwing, the bird Pokémon Fletchling, and the game’s starter Pokémon.

Now the single best thing about this new batch of screenshots is the trainer throwing a Pokéball, this is the first time in the series that we have actually seen the trainer’s hand as he throws the ball from the first-person perspective!

Pokémon X and Y are due to release exclusively for 3DS in October.
