THE BUZZ: Konami has been very quiet in regards to a release date for the Silent Hill HD Collection, however several retailers have changed the TBA date on their listings to reveal what could be the official release date.

Retailers including Amazon, Best Buy and Walmart have all changed the collections release date to January 24 2012, on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The collection will include HD remasters of Silent Hill 2 and Silent Hill 3.

EGM’s TAKE: This release date sounds pretty real when you consider that Konami recently delayed Silent Hill Downpour to February 2012. It’s a good idea to draw fans back with the originals before releasing the latest installment.
