Nintendo and GameStop are teaming up this weekend to give fans hands-on access to Pikmin 3—and the chance to get the game a full day in advance.
A playable demo of Pikmin 3 will be available at over 250 GameStop and EB Games locations, Nintendo of America president Reggie Fils-Aime announced. Fils-Aime also revealed that anyone who pre-orders the digital, downloadable version of Pikmin 3 while at GameStop this weekend will get access to the game via the Wii U eShop on August 3—a full day before the game’s official retail release in North America.
A list of participating GameStop locations is available at the retailer’s official website. The event is behind held July 20 through Jul 21.
Pikmin 3 launches exclusively on Wii U August 4 in North America.
