Users of Final Fantasy XIV‘s companion app can now purchase an optional premium plan that grants additional features.

Players who pay for premium will receive one additional kupo nut daily, get a greater maximum capacity of kupo nuts, and gain the to ability to organize their chocobo saddlebags and retainer inventories using the app. The premium plan also offers some benefits in-game, including one additional retainer and double the capacity of the chocobo saddlebag.

A 30-day premium subscription to the companion app is priced at $5.

Players who prefer to use the app for free can still enjoy being able to chat with friends, organize events, manage character inventories, and access the market board.

Yesterday, Square Enix announced that the game’s next major update, Prelude in Violet, will arrive on September 18th. The update will introduce new main scenario quests, new dungeons, a new raid, and more.

Final Fantasy XIV is available now on PlayStation 4, and PC, while the companion app is available as a free download on iOS and Android.
