Star Fox

Star Fox Zero‘s story, characters, and gameplay take center stage in a new launch trailer from Nintendo.

The trailer details the Star Fox crew and offers a look at the villainous floating head, Andross. The trailer also shows off the game’s motion controls (which cannot be turned off), alternate paths, and gigantic bosses.

Star Fox Zero will release simultaneously with a tower-defense game titled Star Fox Guard on April 22nd, exclusively for Wii U. Shigeru Miyamoto recently opened up about the add-on title, saying that Nintendo included Star Fox Guardfor people who “can’t deal with the challenge” of Star Fox Zero.

Star Fox Zero and Star Fox Guard will be available as a combined package physically and digitally, though those who want to buy them separately can do so—but only digitally.
