Prey

Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC owners can now download a free trial of Prey.

Console owners already had access to a demo for the game, but this free trial allows for progress and achievements/trophies to be carried over to the full game. PC owners never got the demo, as developer Arkane Studios didn’t have enough time to create one and thought that Steam refunds would act as a substitute.

As well as the free trial, Bethesda has also slashed the price of the game across all platforms by 50 percent, taking it down to $29.99.

Last week, Arkane Studios pushed a new update live for the game that finally addressed the stuttering issues on PlayStation 4 Pro.

“Prey is mildly limited in scope and replay value, but everything that is there will hook players almost immediately. In terms of quality over quantity, Prey made the right trade off,” Nick Plessas wrote in our review of the game.
