Call of Duty

Earlier this year, Activision announced their new online subscription service and community called Call of Duty Elite. Today at Call of Duty XP, they’ve announced full details on the program.

There will be two levels of services: Free, which is obviously free, and Premium, which will cost $49.99 a year. All of the previously-announced community features will be free, but Premium members will of course get a lot of extra perks.

Like what?

First, of course, is DLC. You’ll get “20 pieces” of Modern Warfare 3 DLC released over the course of nine months, including things like new multiplayer maps, Spec Ops, missions, game modes, and more. One nice thing about this – any DLC you get during your subscription will still be fully usable should your membership to Call of Duty Elite expire.

Other content is a daily competitive program guide (with prized events, operations, clan operations, official leagues, and more), exclusive clan benefits, a variety of professional tactics and strategy guides, premium groups, early access to test new Call of Duty Elite features, a premium theater where you can upload longer replays in HD, episodic video entertainment, and more.
