News about Prince of Persia is coming next week, according to a post on the official Prince of Persia Facebook page.

“Get ready for some news about Prince of Persia, starting next week…” the Facebook post reads.

Unfortunately, the nature of this news remains a mystery. Could it be a new, proper Prince of Persia game? Sure hope so—fans have been clamoring for one since 2010’s The Forgotten Sands for PS3, Xbox 360, and PC. Could be a new mobile game following the Prince of Persia 2: The Shadow and Flame remake for iOS. Of course, consider Ubisoft’s recently created film division—Ubisoft Motion Pictures—it could be a new flick. Whether you cared for the Jake Gyllenhaal-starring Sands of Time or not, it is the highest-grossing video game film adaptation to date.

Guess we’ll find out next week, when this news—whatever it might be—starts.
