Project CARS

Update: Slightly Mad Studios has released the “first-ever official Project CARS video trailer.” All footage is taken in-game from the PC version. “Jump into the seat of a kart and forge a career with the aim of one day winning a prestigious 24hr race in a LM Prototype car, battle bumper-to-bumper for a third consecutive championship in the world of Touring, or simply take an exotic supercar out for a beautiful drive along the coast,” the developer wrote.

“Whatever your journey, Project CARS is your destination…”

Original Story: Slightly Mad Studios has released a new batch of screenshots for its upcoming racing game Project Cars that show off its detailed environments.

Project CARS is an exhilarating, authentic, and wildly varied ride through the world of car culture and motorsports,” the developer wrote on the game’s official website. “But today, on Earth Day 2014, help us celebrate our blue planet by turning off your engine, pulling over to the side, and sitting back to enjoy Mother Nature as she appears in digital form within Project CARS.

“Whether it’s the cool breeze of clouds passing by, a dramatic sunset, the calming lap of the ocean on the sand, a tempestuous battle of wind and rain, or simply the stillness of a mountain road…”

Project Cars is set to launch this November for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, Wii U, and Steam OS.
