Project Spark, Microsoft’s game-making software from Team Dakota, will launch in full on Xbox One and Windows 8.1 October 7, the company announced today.
In addition to its digital release, a physical retail version “starter pack” version of Project Spark containing offline sounds, effects, animations, props, and creator features will be available for $39.99.
Project Spark is currently in open beta, which can be joined for free through the Xbox One Games store or, for Windows 8.1 users, the Windows apps store.
