THE BUZZ: Activision has released a brand new trailer for Prototype 2, giving us more insight into the main character, James Heller.

EGM’s TAKE: It appears you don’t want to mess with Heller’s family, as if he needed any more reason to hate Mercer. The choice of making Mercer into an antagonist was a brave move by Radical and it’s one that we still don’t agree with. Fans loved Mercer and just as we’d trained him up into some super indestructible being the tables are turned and they make us fight him. Sure the team needed a way to keep the story flowing, and they couldn’t let you start the second game a souped up hero, so the developers did what they felt they had to do. Hopefully the move will pay off and the whole game can hold onto the dramatic tension that this trailer creates.
