THE BUZZ: Activision has detailed the pre-order bonuses that will be available from various U.S. retailers for Prototype 2.

All pre-orders will be upgraded to the Radnet Edition of the game which will allow access to 55 free pieces of content, including mutations, challenges, Avatar items and more.

Pre-orders from Amazon will recive a code to download the first issue of the Prototype 2 comic known as The Anchor, which details the downward spiral of Alex Mercer.

Best Buy pre-orders will receive the Hardened Steel Vehicle Armor upgrade along with a unique steelbook case for the game.

EGM’s TAKE: Based on these two choices we’d suggest you go with the steelbook case as they always look damn nice and they make pretty good collectibles. You can always buy the Prototype 2 comic if you really want to read it, but you can only get the steelbook case from Best Buy.
