Prototype 2

THE BUZZ: Activision has released a new trailer for Prototype 2, showcasing the various weapons that James Heller will use in his hunt for Alex Mercer.

The gameplay footage features shotguns, mini-guns, grenade launchers, assault rifles, RPGs and even an anti-aircraft turret.

EGM’s TAKE: It appears that players will have a lot of traditional weapons to choose from if they get bored of using Heller’s powers, quite how this is possible we’re not sure. As with the first game it looks as if you have have the ability to pull various pieces off attack helicopters and tanks to use your enemy’s own weapons against them, which is always an incredibly cool thing to do. The graphics look to be a major improvement over the first game, which should add to the feeling of destruction when you’re firing off every rocket under the sun.
