The first batch of November’s PlayStation Plus content has been announced, and it includes some free zombie-killing fun from Capcom.

Okay, I’m legitimately excited about getting Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition as a free game thanks to my PS+ subscription. When the game first came out, I really didn’t enjoy what I tried of it—but, I’ve always wanted to go back and give it another shot. Getting to do so now without needing to take any money out of my pocket—well, other than what I paid for PS+, of course—sounds like a perfect deal to me.

In addition to RE5:GE as a free download, PS+ subscribers will also get 30% off Portal 2, Portal 2 In Motion, When Vikings Attack, and 20% off Absolute Supercars.

First week of PS+ content for November, and I’m already pleased. Can’t wait to see what the rest of the month brings us.
