PS+ Subscribers Getting Six Fantastic Vita Games For Free Next Week

If you’re a Vita owner who has been eagerly anticipation the launch of PlayStation Plus on the handheld, it’s coming next week—and it’ll be bringing with it six amazing games for free.
I wondered what Sony was going to do to kick of the introduction of PS+ on the Vita, but I never expected them to do so in such a grand manor. Come next Tuesday—provided you’ve downloaded PS Vita firmware v2.00, which hits on the day before—you’ll be getting these six games for free:
- Uncharted: Golden Abyss
- Gravity Rush
- Wipeout 2048
- Jet Set Radio
- Mutant Blobs Attack!
- Final Fantasy Tactics: The War of the Lions (PSP)
Of course, all of this comes in addition to all of the games currently offered for free to PS3 owners (listed in the graphic below). I don’t mean to sound like a shill for Sony’s digital subscription service, but if you own both a PS3 and a PS Vita, then I can’t recommend PlayStation Plus enough. For me, just this first batch of Vita content alone would pay for the subscription (even more so if I didn’t already own Gravity Rush).
