Sony is rolling out update 3.0 for the PlayStation Vita soon, which preps the handheld for next week’s PlayStation 4 launch in North America.

The update will add the PS4 Link, a new app that allows the Vita to connect to the PlayStation 4 for Remote Play and Second Screen functions. Update 3.0 will also add the ability to chat between Vita and PlayStation 4 via the Party app, a new user interface for the Friends app, the option to download system updates automatically, and the ability to take panoramic photos using the Vita’s camera.
