THE BUZZ: Wait, didn’t the Vita just get a firmware update very recently? Yes it did—and now it’s getting another one!

EGM’s TAKE: Unfortunately, this time, things aren’t as exciting.

Last time, we got v1.60, which brought along a maps application, the ability to record video, Mac OS syncing support, and more. v1.61, meanwhile, gives us one major change—and update which “…will improve certain aspects of the system software.”

So, there you have it! Improvements to certain aspects of your system software, whatever they may be. I always love firmware updates like these—the ambiguity is exciting and underwhelming all at the same time!
