For PS3 owners who might be feeling a little raw that Child of Eden is currently Xbox 360-only, don’t be: the game is coming soon to PS3, and it’ll be worth the wait.
Speaking on the 8-4 Podcast, Q? Entertainment producer James Mielke stated that the reason the PS3 version of Child of Eden hasn’t hit yet is because the game’s small staff of 30 people are making each version of the game on its own.
As a result of this, the PS3 version won’t feel like a half-assed port, and will come with a few elements that “will definitely be worth the couple months that people had to wait for the PS3 version to get finished.”
What those PS3-exclusive features or aspects are, however, is not know just yet. However, a good guess would be at least 3D and Move support. Child of Eden for PS3 will be released this September.
