PS4 update fixes the worst thing about the PlayStation Store

The PlayStation Store has just received an upgrade, and it introduces a feature fans have wanted for a long time.

The new update gives the store’s search functionality a major update, letting fans spell out the names of games on a keyboard replica, which is how most apps do it. Previously, the PlayStation Store had players scroll down through the entire alphabet, letter by letter. The new look can be seen here, in a screenshot from the official PlayStation Twitter.

While a controller still isn’t the ideal medium for typing anything out, the new layout is one that most players are likely more used to using. And for any searches for games with titles near the end of the alphabet, the keyboard layout is bound to be faster than scrolling through the entire A to Z list.

The update should be live now for all PlayStation 4 players.
