Ubisoft is cashing in on the “motion control party dance game” genre again with Just Dance 4, which should be hitting retail stores everywhere today. It’s available for the three major consoles, to boot.

As for everyone sitting on a Wii U pre-order, the Wii U-specific version of the game doesn’t see the light of day until November 18th (in North America).

But, the Wii U will be backwards compatible with the Wii game, although you won’t get the extra modes.

Just Dance moves some major units on the Nintendo Wii, with the last entry in the series pulling almost 10 million units on that console by itself. Expect a similar boost this year, as Nintendo will likely lump sales of the Wii and Wii U version together for their financial reports and PR spin.
