One of the fighting genre’s best 2D titles is free for PlayStation Plus members, as Sony has officially announced a full 100-percent discount for the breakout tournament fighter. More Mai for everyone!

As noted on the PlayStation Blog, this week’s round up of content includes the following games:

• King of Fighters XIII
• The Revenge of Shinobi
• Derrick the Deathfin

Out of the whole pack, Derrick the Deathfin is the new release, an indie game with a papercraft motif.

King of Fighters XIII is still the best value of the bunch, since a new copy will generally run you about 40 bucks. That’s not bad at all, especially since the DLC for the game is also coming at a discounted price.

If you swing by Sony’s PlayStation Blog, there’s also a poll going on that asks what’s “most important” for PS Plus on PS Vita. Right now, results are swinging in the favor of “free games playable only on PS Vita”, with “free games compatible with both PS Vita and PSP” coming in second place.
