THE BUZZ: Sony has announced that the PlayStation Network will be down for maintenance in Europe this Thursday, October 27th.

“There will be a routine PSN maintenance on Thursday between 02:00 and 08:00 UK time. PS Network services may be intermittent for some users,” they said on their official Twitter account.

As usual if you’re signed in before the maintenance begins then you will still be able to play online during the downtime.

EGM’s TAKE: It’s always good when you’re warned about downtime.
