PSN Play 2012 Promotion Kicks Off

Today marks the start of PSN Play 2012, Sony’s PlayStation Store summer promotion where buying games means rebates and special pre-order bonuses.

This year, the four games included in PSN Play 2012 are The Expendables 2 Videogame, Sound Shapes, Papo & Yo, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. If you buy any two of those games, you’ll get a $3 credit on your PSN account. If you buy three, that credit jumps up to $6. Finally, buy all four, and Sony will put $10 of credit into your digital wallet.

As well, you’ll get a bonus XMB theme when pre-ordering any of the games. Pre-orders for The Expendables 2 Videogame are open from today until July 30th; Sound Shapes from 7/31 until 8/6; Papo & Yo from 8/7 until 8/13; and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive from 8/14 until 8/20.

Also, don’t forget: PlayStation Plus members can get each game for 20% off during their launch weeks.
