PSP Back On Top In Japan

As of late, the PSP has been beating the 3DS every week in hardware sales in Japan. Last week, things turned around, and the 3DS came in on top thanks to the release of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3DS.

The reign of the 3DS in the #1 sales spot lasted only one week, however. Last week’s Japanese sales came out today, and the PSP is back on top, with 29,168 units sold versus the 3DS’s 27,905.

Also, three of the top five software slots have been taken by PSP titles; the #1 spot was Atelier Meruru for PS3, and coming in at #5 was Ocarina of Time 3D.
