Rocket League

Psyonix has revealed its summer roadmap for Rocket League.

To start with, the developer will be holding “the biggest in-game event that Rocket League has ever had.” The event will made made up of several limited-time events that will use the same currency throughout. However, the items in the event store will change, offering players “more in-game items to earn than ever before.”

In addition, for the first time ever, Psyonix will be allowing players to trade event currency for XP Level-Up Packs that will grant 10 Tier Points for the Rocket Pass.

Also coming soon is a highly requested feature that will let players easily party-up with random teammates via the post-game screen. Players can also look forward to new ways to organize in-game items with additional inventory management tools and a number of improvements to the trading system.

In other news, Psyonix recently announced that it has been acquired by Epic Games. The developer has stated that it will continue to support Rocket League following the acquisition.

Rocket League is available now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
