PUBG Corp. has released a major update for PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds on PC.
Kicking things off is the previously announced Training Mode. This new mode gives players a new map on which to practice all areas of gameplay, including shooting, driving, and parachuting. Players cannot be killed in Training Mode and each session lasts 30 minutes.
The update also introduces a brand-new progression system to the game called Survival Objectives. These new objectives task players with dealing damage, reviving teammates, getting kills, and more, and reward Survival XP. As players earn XP and fill the Survival gauge they will be rewarded with a supply drop.
The Battle Point system has also undergone a rework to make BP rewards take into account both play time and ranking and removes the four times BP for playing alone in squads.
Other additions include the MK47 Mutant weapon, the Sanhok-exclusive Tukshai vehicle, a Laser Sight, and improved visuals for the Blue Zone. Take a look at the full patch notes here.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is available now on Xbox One and PC.
