PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds

A new update is now available on PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds‘ test server that adds a new weapon, Survivor Pass 3: Wild Card, and more.

As part of this update, players will be able to find the MPK5 on Vikendi. This new sub-machine gun uses 9mm ammunition and has similar firing mechanics to the Vector, which it replaces on the map. However, the MPK5 has a bigger magazine and a higher per bullet damage than the Vector. To even it out, the weapon has a lower overall firing rate and DPS.

In addition to the MPK5, the update introduces Survivor Pass 3: Wild Card. The pass is priced at $9.99 and includes over 60 rewards for players to earn, including new character face and hair items, new backpack skins, and coupons for random items and keys. The pass also features daily/weekly missions, Beginner Missions, and weapon-based missions to test player skill.

As well as improving the Survivor Pass, this latest update increases the damage falloff range of the M16A4, increases the magazine capacity of the Vector, changes the UMP9 to the UMP45, and makes it so the Tactical Stock can now be attached to the MK47 Mutant.

Other changes include loot changes on Erangel, Flare Gun balance adjustments, a PC settings UI overhaul, performance improvements, and more. Read the full patch notes here.
