A new update has been pushed to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds‘ test server that contains a new weapon, a new vehicle, and numerous bug fixes.
First up is a brand-new weapon called the Beryl M762. This new weapon is an assault rifle that can spawn on all three maps and uses 7.62mm ammunition. According to developer PUBG Corp., this new weapon “has lower per bullet damage than the AKM, but a higher firing rate, meaning higher DPS if you can control the kick.”
As well as this new weapon, players can find the Scooter on Sanhok. This is a two-seater vehicle that replaces motorbikes on Sanhok and has a lower speed and an increased turning circle compared to it, but the same HP.
Other changes in this update include new TPP Aim Camera Position options, a key guide for the loading screen, improved map markers, and the addition of a new anti-cheat report feedback system that will inform players when action has been taken.
Finally, this update includes a new batch of “Fix PUBG” improvements and fixes, such as the ability to report teammates, players being unarmed in replays, characters getting stuck, and more. The Fix PUBG campaign was announced earlier this month and will see a number of fixes and quality of life improvements implemented over the next three months.
