Today, as part of the Xbox Live “Countdown to 2013″ Daily Deals, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive is fifty-percent off, bringing it down to 600 Microsoft Points ($7.50, if, like me, you still haven’t bothered to learn the exchange rate).
This is the ninth day of Microsoft’s “Countdown to 2013.” There are still five days left, boasting deals on some pretty sweet titles, such as Borderlands/2 (tomorr0w) and Skyrim (December 31).
Anyone thinking about picking up CS: GO should be warned: if it’s anything like the Counter-Strike/Counter-Strike: Source I used to play in the early 2000′s, that jawn is a different beast then anything y’all are used to. It wouldn’t hurt to scope out some videos of the game in action on the ol’ YouTubes.
