THE BUZZ: Blizzard today announced a new offer for those who subscribe to World of Warcraft, and it’s one hell of a deal.

Under the new World of Warcraft Annual Pass limited-time promotion, players who commit to a 12-month subscription to World of Warcraft will then receive a free downloadable copy of Diablo III upon the game’s release. As well, players who take advantage of this offer will also receive an exclusive WoW mount—Tyrael’s Charger—and guaranteed entry into the next WoW expansion beta test.

In order to participate in the offer, you cannot cancel your subscription during the 12-month commitment, and you must have an account that is “in good standing” and which was created on or before October 18, 2011.

EGM’s TAKE: Just a bit ago I was talking about Mists of Pandaria, and how the expansion wasn’t really enough to tempt me to get back into World of Warcraft. An expansion combined with a free copy of Diablo III? We’re certainly getting closer! This really is a heck of an offer for those who either are already subscribing to WoW, or who have been thinking about getting back into the game.
