QuakeCon 2012: Skyrim: Dawnguard Finally Available For PC, Steam

UPDATE: It seems there’s also a special QuakeCon pack for sale on Steam, just for those you who don’t own Skyrim. It’s tad pricey, but here’s a partial list of what you’ll get for $99 (down from the $456 price tag):
- Brink (with DLC)
- DOOM 3 (with DLC)
- DOOM II
- Elder Scrolls III-V
- Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition
- Fallout New Vegas (with DLC)
- Quake I-IV
- Wolfenstein 3D
Bethesda’s much-anticipated DLC add-on for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is officially ready for you to download to your PC, or through the Steam Store. All you PS3 owners are going to have to wait a bit longer, though.
News for Dawnguard on PlayStation 3 and PC was promised ‘soon’ a few days ago by Bethesda marketing executive Pete Hines, but there’s no announcement about a PS3 date yet.
Anyone with an Xbox 360 had first dibs on the add-on content, though, since Microsoft sneakily paid their way into a 30-day exclusivity period that just ended last week on July 26th.
Dawnguard is available in English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish, and can be downloaded from Steam for 20 dollars. When it eventually releases on the PlayStation Network, you can expect the same price.
