R.B.I. Baseball 14 steps up to bat on PS4 and Xbox One next week

Posted on June 18, 2014 AT 01:30pm

R.B.I Baseball 14 will trade over to PS4 and Xbox One next week, on June 24, developer MLB Advanced Media announced.

The first new R.B.I. Baseball installment since 1995’s R.B.I. ’95 for the Sega 32x, R.B.I. Baseball 14 and its arcade-y take on America’s favorite past time (as opposed to MLB The Show’s more simulator-driven efforts) first launched on mobile devices, Xbox 360, and PS3 a little over two months ago, on April 9.

According to MLB Advanced Media’s press release, the developer has plans to “introduce a host of updated features later this summer,” including adding in competitive multiplayer modes and an alumni pack featuring 60 former MLB stars from two decades ago, during the early years of R.B.I.

R.B.I. Baseball 14 will be available for $19.99 through both console’s respective digital stores.
