Rage‘s Scorcher expansion is set to release next week, according to the latest PlayStation Blogscast.

The long-rumored, yet still unannounced expansion will release as part of next weeks PlayStation Store update, according to the podcast. The Scorchers is a clan that was originally cut from Rage before the game launched. The DLC was first classified by PEGI back in the summer and a set of PlayStation 3 Trophies have also been discovered referencing campaign missions and various mini-games.
