Rainbow Six: Patriots Could be Pushed to Xbox 720/PlayStation 4

Ubisoft has kept very quiet about Rainbow Six: Patriots since it was first announced which led many to fear that the game had been cancelled, however CEO Yves Guillemot has now alleviated any fears with a mini status update on the game.
“The only thing I can say is that we have a good team working on it, and it’s really looking good,” he told Polygon. “So when it will come, it will surprise the industry.” While he’s not giving much away it does show that the game is still in development so fans can once again rest easy.
Guillemot did mention something a little interesting alongside this update, when asked if the game could be pushed back to next-generation consoles he answered, “There’s a good chance it can be.”
Based on the fierce competition for shooters on current-gen consoles and the death grip that Call of Duty currently has it would probably be a wise move on Ubisoft’s part to hold the game back for next-gen consoles.
