Ubisoft has unveiled Jalal “Kaid” El Fassi, one of the two new Operators being introduced to Rainbow Six Siege with the release of Operation Wind Bastion.

Kaid started out with the Royal Moroccan Gendarmerie, where he demonstrated natural leadership skills and was eventually promoted to Captain. Following this, he went on to become the 8th Commander of the Moroccan Special Forces.

“Kaid abides by strict values and he leads by example. Over the years, his teaching methods and leadership style have proven to be effective,” Ubisoft adds. “The Fortress gained accolades and its reputation continues to rise, making Kaid arguably the most successful resident Commander at the famous Kasbah.”

This new Defender comes armed with the “Rtila” Electroclaw, a spider-inspired gadget that can electrify reinforced walls and hatches, barbed wire, and deployable shields.

Ubisoft is yet to officially announce the second Operator coming with the update, but, thanks to a Reddit leak, we know that she will be an Attacker called Nomad.

Operation Wind Bastion will be officially unveiled during the Pro League Finals that take place on November 17th and 18th.
