Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege fans recently learned more about the operators and map of the shooter’s upcoming Operation White Noise expansion through both official and unofficial channels.

The content drip started with an official post to the Rainbow Six Siege Twitter account that gave a very vague tease of one of the operators coming in the DLC. All that can be seen in the tweet’s image is the shoulder and hand of the new operator, with them holding what looks like a locket. The post was accompanied by a message in Polish that translates to “Your decisions will determine the rest of your life”, teasing the operator as the second Polish GROM unit, following the introduction of Ela in the previous expansion.

Shortly after, a leak on Reddit by user -Tyler–Durden- allegedly detailed the operator’s name and ability, along with similar information for the two Korean operators planned for Operation White Noise. According to the post- sourcing from 4chan– the polish Attacker will wield a grenade launcher that can fire both stun and explosive charges. As for the Korean operators, the attacker will purportedly be able to cause enemy gadgets to make a loud noise so they can be located, while the defender can become invisible to drones (at least as we interpret it). Additionally, the post claims that Ubisoft is working on a “zombie/alien situation”, as well as Mexican operators, more details on which can be found in the 4chan post.

While these details are not yet confirmed—particularly not the “zombie/alien situation”—an image that leaked after the post could substantiate some information surrounding the Polish operator. Posted by Reddit user seniorplazaml, the image depicts an operator with a Poland badge, aiming what looks like a grenade launcher with two firing options, based on the decals on the side of the weapon. It could be fake, but it looks fairly official.

Finally, fans recently got a peek at Operation White Noise‘s Tower map from yet another post to the game’s official Twitter account. The short trailer doesn’t reveal any of the aforementioned operators, but it does give a fly-through perspective of the new Observation Tower map, set in Seoul, South Korea.

Rainbow Six Siege‘s Operation White Noise expansion does not yet have a release date, but fans can look forward to an announcement of one during the DLC’s reveal panel at the Pro League Finals on November 19th.
