Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege‘s Operation Blood Orchid expansion is now live, with a new trailer showing off the characters and map it’s bringing to the fight.

Operation Blood Orchid brings three new operators into the fold: Defenders Ela and Lesion, and Attacker Ying. Ela’s sticky Grzmot mines will stun enemies walking past, Lesion’s cloaked Gu mines will poison those that step near it, and Ying’s Candela device is a next-level Flashbang grenade that can be planted or thrown. These new operators are playable amongst the attractions of the game’s new Theme Park map, set in the ruins of a Hong Kong-based theme park.

Fans can see this new content for themselves in the trailer below.

The map is currently live and free for all players, but only those with the game’s year two season pass can enjoy the new operators for free at this time. Non-season pass holders will have to wait until September 12th to pick up the three new characters, and only after paying for each of them with in-game Renown currency or R6 credits.

In addition to the new content, Operation Blood Orchid has brought some major changes to the experience. Details on the most notable adjustments in the expansion, as well as a rundown of the patch notes, can be found in our previous coverage.
