Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six

The second operator for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege‘s Operation Para Bellum expansion has been revealed, and it’s exactly who we were expecting.

The new operator is a Defender of the Italian GIS, just like his compatriot, Alibi, who got her own trailer earlier this week. The second operator goes by the name Maestro, and while the trailer doesn’t confirm what his unique ability is, we can make an educated guess.

The trailer shows Maestro taking cover from fire in a building and staring at a screen while a battle rages around him. At one point in the trailer, Maestro touches the screen, and an agonized shout from one of his enemies can be heard off in the distance. This could suggest that the operator will boast some kind of turret that he can operate remotely from a tablet.

Both Maestro and Alibi surfaced in a leak prior to their official reveals, although the specifics surrounding their abilities weren’t detailed in the leak.

The full gameplay reveal of the two characters will go down during the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege Pro League Finals on May 19th and 20th. The first gameplay on the expansion’s new map, Villa, will also go down at the Pro League Finals, but fans can get an early look at it from a recent teaser trailer. During the Finals, gamers can enjoy a free weekend of Siege, running from May 17th to May 20th.

Siege‘s Operation Para Bellum expansion does not currently have a release date, but it is expected to launch sometime in early June. As usual, the map will be free to all players, but non-season pass holders will have to buy the operators with in-game credits.

Whatever this Siege operator can do with that screen, it doesn't sound pleasant.
