Rambo: The Video Game gets a release date

Posted on January 31, 2014 AT 04:38am

Reef Entertainment has finally confirmed a release date for Polish developer Teyon’s Rambo: The Video Game on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.

The game will be available from February 21 in Europe, according to the publisher. A North American release date wasn’t confirmed, but presumably it will be February 18. Rambo: The Video Game puts players in the boots of John Rambo as he makes his way through iconic scenes from the films First Blood, Rambo: First Blood Part II, and Rambo III.

“Fans of the films will be happy to know that the original movie voice-tracks of John Rambo (Sylvester Stallone) and Col. Samuel Trautman (Richard Crenna) as well as selected music from the original Rambo Trilogy will feature in the game,” Jas Marwaha of Reef Entertainment wrote on the PlayStation Blog.

Two “highly detailed, hand-painted,” 3-inch figurines based on images of John Rambo from First Blood and Rambo: First Blood Part II are available as pre-order bonuses from select retailers.
