Dust off those bandannas because Reef Entertainment has announced that Rambo: The Video Game will be on show at Gamescom next month in Cologne, Germany.

The game was announced last August for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. Nothing is known about the game’s setting, and the teaser image below does little to change that. Reef has promised that more information will be revealed about the game over the next few weeks.

Reef Entertainment marketing boss Craig Lewis said, “We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August. During this time we have been dedicated to creating a video game for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon-set in battle.”

There’s no official release date set for the game, however Reef said last August that it would be out in 2012.
