The title will be available to download from March 20 and will run in high definition at 60 frames per second, along with support for online leader-boards and trophies/achievements. The game originally released on PlayStation 2, GameCube and Xbox back in 2003.
EGM’s TAKE: The original Rayman titles were fantastic examples of how to do platforming right and with the success of Rayman Origins now is the perfect time to release this HD update. HD remakes are starting to drop off again after the flurry of releases towards the end of last year, but there are many classic games that fans would love to see. Personally we’d love to see at least four or five PS2 titles receive updates, however unless the publisher feels they will be profitable and feasible don’t expect to see that title you’re dreaming of appear any time soon.
