Rayman Jungle Run Skips To App Store One Day Early, Out Now

For people who’ve played the original Rayman, it must be more than a little weird to see him all over the place — yet still exciting. But if Rayman Origins‘ console price seems steep, you might want to try this instead.
Rayman Jungle Run, a mobile title that attempts to emulate the running, jumping whimsy of its bigger console brother, is now officially ready to be bought from the App Store.
Apparently, the launch trailer lied to you iPhone, iPad, and iPod users about the September 20th release date.
Still, no one seems that mad, judging by the glowing user reviews.
For those of you who use Android devices and Google Play (or other app outlets), you’re not quite so lucky.
But at least you’re not completely alone in waiting a bit longer than planned. Rayman Jungle Run is also missing iPhone 5 optimization right now, so the lucky few that already have Apple’s new gadget (high-profile members of the press and rich business men?) will have some momentary discomfort in their high-rise apartment-living, caviar-eating lives.
