Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed that Rayman Legends is headed to PS4 and Xbox One February 2014, IGN reports.

Confirmation of Rayman Legends for PS4 and Xbox One were revealed during a company earnings call conducted earlier today.

“The PS4 and Xbox One will be released in a few days’ time and will be a new driving force for the industry,” Guillemot said. “We are confident in our capacity to rise to the short-term challenges posed by the transition phase, thanks to the very high quality of our games, which, combined with the upcoming arrival of the next-generation consoles and the traditional ramp-up of sales during the Christmas season will trigger positive momentum towards the end of the year.”

Originally designed to be a Wii U exclusive slated for release much earlier this year, Rayman Legends was delayed until a September release to accommodate for Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Vita ports. The platformer was met overwhelmingly with positive reception from critics, including EGM’s own Andrew Fitch. You can check out his review to learn what makes Rayman Legends so special.
