THE BUZZ: Ubisoft has confirmed that Rayman Origins will be available as a Vita launch title.

The game will be available February 14 in the U.S. for those who grabbed the Vita “First Edition.”

EGM’s TAKE: The Vita is looking more and more impressive every day. Rayman Origins looks near identical to its console counter-parts, showcasing the Vita’s power. Add to this an impressive launch line-up and Sony could be marching on to victory in the battle with Nintendo and the 3DS. The Vita version will inlcude a new pinch zoom mechanic, players can get a closer look at levels by swiping their fingers outwards on the screen. A Ghost Mode is also available which allows players t race through levels against their friends ghosts. With all the fun of the console version and some cool new features, if you’re yet to try out the game and you’re getting a Vita  then this is certainly worth your money.
