Ray’s the Dead, a stylish indie action-adventure game that sees players fighting alongside an army of undead friends, is coming to Vita as well as PS4, developer Ragtag Studio announced today.

Described on its Kickstarter page as featuring “fast paced combat akin to Pikmin and Overlord, the high level adventure of The Legend of Zelda, and the off beat humor of Stubbs the Zombie,” the zombie-filled action-adventure title launched has already exceeded its $30,000 pledge goal by $5,457, with 18 days to go before the Kickstarter closes. Announced for PS4 during Sony’s E3 2013 press conference, the Vita version of Ray’s the Dead will be cross-buy compatible with its PS4 counterpart.

Ragtag’s “story driven action-stealth-puzzler” is also coming to Windows PC, Mac OS X, and Linux. In fact, according to studio co-founder Chris Cobb, players can procure a PC version of Ray’s the Dead off its Kickstarter page “for less than what it will cost on release.” Said full release is expected by May 2015.
