Destiny 2 players running Strikes were recently confronted by a terrifying but amazing glitch. To all players afraid of giant creatures: please proceed with caution.
During the Inverted Spire Strike, Guardians were surprised to find that the activity’s end boss—Protheon, Modular Mind—was three times his normal size. It’s important to note that Protheon was already a large enemy, so having him balloon up three sizes was really gilding the giant robotic lily.
While Bungie has since fixed the glitch, there is still video evidence of his gigantic existence. Check out the developer’s tweet below to see “bigboi” doing his best Godzilla impression.
This week we fixed an issue where Protheon, Modular Mind, the boss of the Inverted Spire strike, grew three times his normal size.
You asked for video evidence so here’s your “bigboi” in action. pic.twitter.com/CF0OgyDAvL

While the bugged Vex got a lot of attention last week, players have been mainly focused on the shooter’s new season and recently launched DLC. Black Armory is now available to all Guardians with the Annual Pass, and with it comes new missions, a fresh raid, and several exciting Elite weapons.
Perhaps the greatest incentive to jump into the DLC, though, is the addition of the Last Word Exotic hand cannon. Players will be able to take on an Exotic quest at the end of January to pick up this fan-favorite Destiny weapon. Until then, the new Lost Forges will offer a fair but challenging experience that will award some impressive guns upon completion.
Destiny 2 is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
