One Red Dead Online player may have discovered the next multiplayer mode to be added to the experience.

Reddit user donajello1 recently posted an image to the Red Dead Online subreddit of an apparent glitch in the game’s mode selection screen. According to their description, they were attempting to join a Showdown match when the selection screen popped up two additional modes before they quickly disappeared. The modes were labeled Gun Rush and Gun Rush Teams.

In the comments below the post, many speculate that this mode will be a variant of Grand Theft Auto Online‘s Kill Quota mode, which had players start with powerful weaponry that was swapped out for weaker and weaker options as the match progressed. As for when we might expect Gun Rush, donajello1 suggests that it is likely coming in the game’s next update, which is as good of a guess as any.

In Red Dead Online‘s previous update, developer Rockstar addressed the game’s contentious economy, reducing the prices for goods and increasing the payout for missions. Now all the game needs is to introduce free-aim lobbies.
